    Hello!

So I got accepted to year 2 of both Computer Arts and Game Design and Production Management at Abertay. I'm so happy but am struggling to choose between the courses. Is there anyone could give me any insight onto their experience on the courses? Particularly game design as I see a lot more talk about the computer art course.

In my current course I do a mix of art, 3D modelling and coding so I feel I could go both ways. I can't decide if it would be more worthwhile to study computer arts and be more skilled in one area while learning code on the side, or going for the game design corse which seems like a balance of both art and code/design - but this is me just going by what's on the website!

    Any advice welcome

Interesting, It's really hard to come up with an answer you know. That is because essentially you like both courses but aren't in a place and time where you've experienced each of them to give an accurate opinion on which you prefer. I think the best is to just go with the flow, if you really want to focus on the arts mainly then go and do it,but if you want to keep the focus on your programming also then go with the other one. I know how you feel *I think* I also at times want ALL THE KNOWLEDGE.

You wont make a mistake by picking one or the other if you like both, what really matters is which one you want to work on in this time of your life. I would personally recommend attending the open days that are coming up quite soon and see the campus for yourself and who knows maybe you will get a chance to ask other students some questions you know ! I think that's the safest option haha. Good luck!

P.S I got an offer for Game Design and Production too !
