    Hi all.

When I did GCSE over 10 years ago I got D on foundation.

When I took learn direct level 2 adult numeracy and literacy in 2007 I passed.

I'm going to Uni in sept and need to gain a level 4 maths. I'm confused whether I should sit foundation or higher paper under the new grades.

I am also going to study through ICS learn.

    Thanks for your advice

I'd defiantly recommend doing the higher tier as the percentage required to gain a 4 is far lower than the foundation tier. While the content is tougher if you're looking at getting a 4 you can ignore the more complex topics and just make sure you nail the early questions and you'll get that 4 .
