    Hi,
Could you help me please with filling up online form- some of the points are not clear to me.

Section "About me" question: What's your UK residency status?

My circumstances: I am the EU citizen and I have been living for 7 years in the UK.

Shall I choose EU National or Settled status? (EU National in most cases are not eligible to apply for maintenance support) Can I use P60 or bills to prove my settled status?

Section "Course and fees" I have 3 options to select: 1 University or college, 2 Study abroad, 3 Work placement in the UK or abroad.

I am going to work between 16-20 hours p/w during an academic year- should I choose option 3 ?

Student finance calculator website shows me that I could get £8700 per year, but while applying SFE it says I can get £2635 as I will be on work placement.
I think I have done something wrong, because it is not possible survive financially working 20h p/w and receiving support of £2635 yearly.

    Thanks in advance
    Kriss

    Hi Kriss,

You can indicate on the form that you are an EU national and send your original identity evidence.

We will see from the application form that you may meet the five years residency requirement to be assessed for the same level of support as a home student.

We will then send you a UK Residency Form to provide your full address history and return with evidence for each address to cover the full five year period.

Placement years are not usually in year one.
Can I ask what course is it that you are undertaking and is this your first year of study ?

    Regards Rona
