I am an international student who has took O levels. My grades are 3 A,s 2 B,s and 3 C,s.Do i have a chance in getting into oxford or cambridge with these grades if i do well in A levels or will i be on a disadvantage against those who has achieved straight A,s in their O levels?

I think everyone should apply if they think they even have a slightly chance of getting in- you might be surprised what you can do!

GCSE's aren't the end all and be all, particularly not for Cambridge. Ideally see how you do in you AS exams (if you take them- some schools don't allow it but others say everyone takes them even though they don't count for the overall grade anymore) as the AS exams are a more recent indicator of how well you'll do. If in doubt, wait until you get your A level results and then apply once you've met the standard offer grades for the course you're looking at applying for.

I would say you have very little chance with Oxford.
