Biodiversity and climate change

I’m writing an essay and am stuck for interesting angles.

Any ideas for links between biodiversity and climate change, other than the obvious rainforests, coral reefs, the arctic etc..

Thanks

Oceans looking at how CO2 dissolving affects the increase in temperature and acidity

New and emerging practices in translocating species to preserve or promote biodiversity - what is being done, what are the impacts on the receiving sites etc? (Emma Marris' book, "Rambuctious Gardens" would be a starting point - it has references.)

How different species have different capacity to adapt to climate change and "phenological mismatch" - here's a BTO summary; its a very research active area atm.

mosquitos moving more north and bringing illnesses to new places
different insect cycles effect pollination and health
Is there any way that lack of biodiversity affects climate change?
