I'm doing an experimental research for my dissertation, and I know I should clearly indicate my variables somewhere, but I'm not sure where.
My supervisor suggested I put it somewhere in my intro?
But doesn't it belong more in the methodology section?
And what should I subtitle it as, variables? Identification of variables?

I feel like I'm being incredibly silly with this. Please advise.
    Many thanks!
