    Hello!

Four weeks into semester two and I'm wondering how everyone keeps on top of their workload? I'm starting to feel like I'm struggling a little to keep up with lecture notes, seminar notes & all the required reading. Tips anyone?

For those who are wondering I'm doing a degree in English Literature & Language!

Prioritising things is key and also if you can go to lectures having already read into the topic or if you can access the slides before hand then read and annotate them so the information isnt fresh so you're building on it instead.

Have you tried the app called “swipes”? You put in everything that you need to do and then when you’ve done them you swipe and it goes to the “done” list. It’s quite satifying seeing the todo list go smaller and makes you more motivated and productice

Piggybacking off of what @claireestelle recommended, there's a really neat study tool called an Eisenhower matrix I found about recently--see an example here of how to do one: x

It will allow you to visualise and establish your priorities! I also second what she says about reading lectures beforehand--it gives you a chance to really digest information beforehand (less writing up of notes later), and ask more questions in lecture, thus turning it into more of an active study learning session.
