My homework is a series of multiple choice questions. One of them reads like this:

Which of the following structures DOES NOT contain cartilage?
    A: Trachea
    B: Bronchus
    C: Bronchioles
    D: Alveoli

I'm confused because in class we've been taught that there isn't any cartilage in the bronchioles or the alveoli. Is the question wrong? Or am I wrong and there's just one answer rather than two?

The question isn't incorrect as the bronchioles do contain cartilage, the answer is alveoli.

I think it’s alveoli - alveoli has elastic fibres.

The question isn't incorrect as the bronchioles do contain cartilage, its they no longer contain cartilage as they get smaller btw the answer is alveoli.

Trachea contain C-shaped rings of cartilage
    Bronchus contains fragments of cartilage
Bronchioles (only large ones) have fragments of cartilage
    Alveoli do not.
Therefore your answer is D. You just need to remember these facts.
