Is it a bit sly ordering a takeaway in this weather?

Was going to order a deliveroo but feel like a d*ckhead in my lovely warm house while the poor rider is cycling in the snow.

Not really they are getting paid for it, and most roads are cleared
No do it, they hate losing customers more than driving in the snow

My road is still covered in snow
He will be doing the deliveroo in his nice warm cosey caroo so there’s nothing to be worried about
As a Deliveroo driver it is infinitely worse sitting around in the snow ( as you're colder) and not getting paid.
thats peak lmao imagine trekking miles in the snow with a pizza u cant even eat

It's not sly, you buying their service is the reason they have a job

They're paid for it, but alas, no takeaways are operating in my area.
they get surge pricing when the weather is bad in nottingham it goes from £4.25 to 7.50 a delivery... order away... the hardcore enjoy it.. im an employee but im waiting till spring lol.

It’s worse than sitting around, PLUS they’d get a well deserved tip I’m sure?

It's their job.

Now enjoy that Chinese takeaway.
If the conditions were that bad they'd be closed.
They are here in Glesga...

Most restaurants were closed tonight or closed early. I did order and he came in a car so I don't feel too bad.
you say that like it’s an actual bicycle. A motorbike man

They pretty much all ride a bicycle where I live.
i have a friend who works at dominos, she told me how delivery drivers are struggling with the snow.
But they are getting paid for this, some takeaways aren’t even open. Perhaps you could tip them?
depending on how bad the weather is i would give him a huge tip
