Bad luck you've had at college/university to make you seriously question your luck? watch

Example, earlier today at college we played an 8 question Kahoot quiz with relatively easy questions. After creating my screen name, I easily manage to answer the first two questions but after that I get a notification about Facebook pop up, which I dismiss, but once I go back to the mobile Chrome browser I'm playing the quiz on only for it to insist on refreshing the page leaving me out of the game and unable to get back in again as I can't remember the PIN. I ended up 5th place overall due to only answering two questions, making me look like the classroom idiot. I saw the other six questions I easily knew the answer to, but it felt so annoying being left unable to answer them! :banghead:

So what's the worst bad luck you've felt you've had recently at college or university?

We had a fire alarm go off in my uni halls recently, where I tripped over in front of everyone onto concrete and hurt both my knees quite badly I could really do without that kind of thing at 2am :unimpressed:

Let me guess, all because of burnt toast or shower steam?

I'm not sure what the cause was, but I'm guessing burning food was most likely

-it's my usual Wednesday morning start
    -alarm going off on desk
-somehow fall over onto my ass in the metre distance between bed and desk
-turn off alarm and start heading back towards bed
-slip again and deck myself for the second time
-go to toilet, slip in ensuite, hit leg against toilet and fall on my ass yet again
-"**** uni today i'm going back to bed till 1pm and nobody can stop me"
    -fire alarm tests at 9:30am

A fun series of events today made me think of this thread again. This is now an R_M's Terrible Life Thread™

    -go to flat party
-get horribly drunk so have to be escorted back to bed
    -wake up in the morning
-blood and wee on my bedsheets somehow
-just took my other set of sheets off yesterday, not washed em yet, man's currently got no clean sheets
-go to laundry room, throw sheets in the one empty machine and put the money in
-Try to start wash, interface says some incoherent garbage and then asks me to remove my stuff
    -I remove stuff
    -closed door
-machine is now ready to go
-pull door to put things back in
    -door locked
-paid £2.40 to wash some ****ing air for half an hour
    -still no sheets
