    I got a cartilidge piercing 3 days ago and was bleeding a little bit for the first few days and now there is a little bit of pus coming out of it which is light/yellow of colour and not a lot i just want to make sure that it isnt becoming infected, i am cleaning it twice a day with saline solution

    Pus means your body is fighting an infection. If there is pus, it indicates it is infected. You need to get it looked at and you best option for that will probably be to wait until morning and call your GP surgery and ask to see a nurse or to head to a walk-in clinic. You can also call 111 for advice.

    You may be cleaning it too much, try cleaning it with cotton buds and simply just hot water with nothing in it, maybe say just once in the morning? Sometimes solutions are the worst to use for your cartilage

    Pus means there is an abscess. Abscesses are caused by bacterial infections.
