    Hi,

For the CYO scheme at King's, if you are studying any of the Biosciences, do you literally just choose your degree after year 1 because you would have had a taste of all areas of Biomedical Science?

    Thanks!

Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help

Common year one is for every student studying a bioscience theme, anatomy, genetics, pharmacology etc.. First year you do a bit of everything, and after that you have the option to change your degree from e.g. biomedical sciences bsc to pharmacology bsc. theres also the option to change onto a masters degree after first year (or change in third year but this depends on your module choices for second year). If like me, you do biomedical sciences, now theyve introduced themes, your degree will still be biomedical sciences, but you would have a specialism within that (obviously there is still plenty of room for choice, the themes just help keep your overall degree structured).
