Hello everyone.
I'm from Panama. I will soon attend Abertay university in Scotland.
I studied in an American high school and even attended an American university for a semester. I wanted to ask how is the grading system in the UK.

This might be some help for conversions, but I’m sure the grading system is pretty similar

This isn't going to help OP in the slightest. That is for GCSEs - converting old GCSE garden to new ones.

OP is talking about university grading

Copied from someone else post:

The grading system is as follows:

39% average or below: Fail

40-49% average: Third class (also called a Third)

50-59% average: Second class (lower division, also called a 2.2 classification)

60-69% average: Second class (upper division, also called a 2.1 classification)

70% average or above: First class degree

The aim is to get a 2.1 or a First
