I’m in year ten and we’ve started the fsmq syllabus. However we have a choice if we want to do it or not. Considering the fact that I don’t want to a maths related uni course should I do it.h

Even if you don’t want to do anything related to maths in the future, having a good maths qualification is what universities will look at and future job employers so it is an essential aspect of life. I would recommend doing it but if you really don’t want to then you don’t have to

if you are good enough to understand fsmq syllabus which is pretty hard to for most year 10's, I would at least consider doing a maths related degree. I am myself doing it this year, any qualification is good and is "worth it" if you are capable of doing it and especially since this one is level 3 ( equivalent to an AS) I would go for it.
