I have a crush on this guy at uni; we don't talk however, I like being in his presence? Ik it sounds weird but the moment I get home, I can't stop thinking about him.

I don't understand why I miss him, its emotionally draining me and all I wanna do is lay in bed and cry.

Every time I close my eyes, his face just pops up, when I'm sleeping he's in my flippin dreams. I try to throw him at the back of my head so I can concentrate on uni work but it's just not happening. I'm not going to see him coz of strikes and for some reason its act depressing me. Idk what to do?

Why not invite him out somewhere? Get to know each other better? Keeping it platonic for a while if you do, but throw in some cheeky flirts.

    No problem.

Since you're not a flirt, don't let that cross your mind then. It would be silly to fake who you aren't.

Although I'd still push you to invite him out to see a movie or try out an interesting restaurant. Why live your entire life thinking "what if?" if you could find out? Heck, try and hang around him more once strikes are off, even if it's one on one? Keep messaging him over the break.

No dude, we legit don't talk lol its just intense stares and eye contact.
I wanna talk to him casually but every time he initiates a conversation with either a mate or me, I blank out and can't concentrate on what he's saying at all. Texting him is out of the question cos I did something really stupid lol and he prob thinks I'm dodgy affs

Instead of having these feelings, I feel it would be better to move on, no?

So you are infatuated! Hopefully it'll go away on its own in a few weeks. The only way to get him off of your thoughts is focusing on something else, really, whatever you like (read books, watch movies, engage in interesting conversations with people... idk).
