    "Using relevant examples explain what are meant by constitutional conventions in the UK state"

    Could the question be asking that since the UK does not have a codified constitution hence the question is asking where it draws it's laws from? So this would be the HRA, ECHR, case law, Strasbourg Jurisprudence etc talk about Diceys def on constitutional conventions maybe. i cannot really say without knowing the full question..or is that the full question ahah :/

    That is the full question lol, it's just wanting examples of conventions - I wrote an example of convention is the monarch (head of state) appoints the Prime minister. This is a convention as it isn't a statute? Do you know if this is right?
