What if on results day I don’t want to go university anymore or defer to next year? watch

I’m really worried this university decision is so hard.

Honestly, wait till results day and see how you are feeling. University should be something you look forward to. I really was not looking forward to it and ended up dropping out of first year and now I'm currently taking a gap year and so it gave me loads of time to decide whether I'm mentally, physically and emotionally ready for it and I feel really positive about it this time! Listen to your gut, don't be scared to do something that maybe everyone else isn't doing!! Hope it goes well

If you would like defer your offer, you can wait until after results day when your offer is confirmed and such before contacting your firm university... it's what I did and my firm was really accommodating (although I do have extenuating circumstances) Don't go to university unless you are ready! A gap year is a great time to explore further interests and for personal reflection... though I would implore you to find something productive to do so as you are just chilling at home haha
