It's just the cost to have that car , I'll bear it without a single thought.
More than insurance , the problem would be the left hand drive of the car

Hmm, within the next 5 years I'd like to have the AMG GTR. Love the looks and handling.

Already driving an E63 AMG. I think probably Nissan GTR, Ferrari F430 or AMG-GTS within next 1-2 years before the AMG-GTR though.

I’ve always loved the look of the Audi R8

Bit out of my price range though. I’ll just stick to Ford Fiestas or SEAT Ibiza’s...

RS Cosworth. Probably not to drive much though, I haven't really thought about what I'd like long-term to drive but it'd likely be a hot hatch - however I am not the biggest fan of the current style Focus RS so I would probably be investigating something like the RS3, however whilst it's apparently a better performing car than the AMG A45, on an aesthetics level I would much rather own the AMG.

I have no real desire to own a modern muscle car or expensive beamer (of course not that the RS3 is by any means cheap...). Most people I know with an expensive BMW/Merc got it because it's the ability to say "I own a 15 reg bmw" and because the response will be "dats sick!" not because they actually appreciate the car itself.

If you're buying your so-called dream car, than fuel economy is likely to be the last thing you care about.

Mk1 Ford Escort, wide body kit 2JZ swapped, although I don't know if a 2JZ would fit. Or one of the new focus RS's!

Depends what you class as realistic. I suppose playing it safe either an Abarth 124 or Mazda MX-5 RF. On a very different slant a G-Wagon would be pretty sweet too, and complement the others nicely.
