Hello, I am trying to find someone to take over my contract. It is from Ewen Henderson Court. You can move in ASAP, or at a date which fits you. The contract ends on August 18th. You will pay £2795 in two instalments for this.

You have to be a King's student.

Alternatively, if you want to move in on 23rd June onwards, then you will only pay one instalment of £1240.

    PM me if interested!

Out of interest, why do you want to swap from Ewan Henderson? I was going to apply there myself for accommodation so it would be interesting to hear your reasons as to why you want to move

Simply because there is no need to have it over the summer! Unis not on and I'm going home

I haven't enjoyed it to be honest though, New Cross isn't the best of areas.

Well fuuuuck. It was definitely my last choice when applying and it was the only one I ended up getting an offer from - sigh.

It isn't awful. The fact I have four 9am lectures so had to battle the Overground at rush hour every morning probably hasn't helped. For South London, it is really well linked up to Central.

The area can feel a little sketchy at times though, and despite having a common room, there was very little in terms of events or did it ever feel like there was a welcoming atmosphere.

I didn't get a bad bunch of people in my flat (six others), but some friends I did make in the accommodation didn't get much luck. They had postgraduates, year twos, and some Asian students who, not to generalise, at times aren't the most sociable or outgoing. One friend only had three other people in his flat too which sucked.

My perspective after being in two different halls the last two years in London now though is it seems that most people, including myself, make the bulk of their friends and friendship group on their course, in seminars, and any societies you'll join.
