# How would you solve this watch

1. x:y = 7:5
x+y=88
What is x-y
2. So from the given ratio, x is 7 units and y is 5 units. Therefore x + y = 12 units = 88.
12 units = 88
1 unit = 7 1/3
Since x = 7 units and y = 5 units, x - y =(7-5) units = 2 units
= 14 2/3
3. Thanks so much
4. Thank you so much*
5. My pleasure.
