I love how this thread is a community consisting of only a handful of people. I would laugh if we are the only ones who are on the course this year :p:

Further to our email of 30 January 2009 we have been working to get decisions out to applicants by a target date of 31 March. We have made a large number of decisions and more will follow over the next few days however, due to the large numbers of applications and limited availability of places this has been a difficult process. It is therefore unavoidable that some decisions will be outstanding after 31 March. We are sorry for this additional delay and the uncertainty you will be caused. This should not be interpreted as an indication of either a positive or negative outcome to your application but a result of our efforts to make decisions in the fairest way possible within the limitations of places available.

We will of course be looking to process the remaining decisions as soon as possible. In the meantime we thank you both for your interest in SOAS and for your continued patience with us.

I really am very baka to have not selected Sheffield yet. I am sure I want to go there, and they gave me an offer last year, I just want a sense of completeness before I finish off my application.

Guess I will see you folks in September time also, already in your cliques ha. Going to be sad to leave Japan :no:

For a brief time I actually considered going to Leeds just so I could come back here sooner, but I realised that ultimately this is a dumb reason to choose a university. Anyway, see y'all soon. Greetings from Tokyo city!

Yeaa i think it's cool that we're all talkin and things on here first..! Others on our course who don't use TSR are missin' out me thinks~

Atleast we'll find people who we sorta know on our course, so we can start being friends pretty quickly~

I was wondering though, do we all meet eachother during freshers?? Like..do we all get together in the department to meet n stuff...i dunno...lol...or do we just do it afterwards? Becuase i think it'd be cool if we could all go out drinkin beforehand!

Im really excited...when i think about it all i feel like a kid at christmas~!! haha that sounds so sad but its totally tru~!! XD
