17 and not at college

Hello everyone.

Basically what the title stays...

17 and not at college I quitted to get a job or apprentiship or something.

I live in the UK will my parents get into trouble because ain't you ment to stay in education until 18?

the law says you have to be in some sort of full time or part time education if your living in England that is

I quit college aged 16, 2 years ago when the law was fairly new. I was outside of all forms of education (inc. apprenticeships, vocational type courses) for 9 months and just worked at a cafe to pass time before re-starting a-levels.

No one ever questioned me or my parents at all, but maybe it depends on how vigilant the authorities are in your area... I live in W Sussex.
Personally I think you should probs go back to school or actually get an apprenticeship
