I have made a similar post about leaving my current house share with my friend but this is a bit more specific..

How do you deal with arguing with your friends in your twenties? Me and my best friend live together and the arguments start because he can’t be told or asked anything. If I ask nicely for him to clean more, he gets nasty. When our other housemates asked him to turn his music down he came to me and talked about them in a nasty way. He’s never once apologised to me after being horrible, I always do to avoid further conflict. This is how I know the friendship needs to end. I’m gaining nothing from it..

But I don’t know how to deal with the arguing and the end of the friendship? I’m moving out, but for example we are meant to be going to gig together in a month. We have tickets.. I don’t know where to go from here?

It sounds like he isnt aware or doesnt value your friendship.
If he isnt p pulling his weight then talk to him as a group.
Your alternative is just not to engage and get out when you can. Focus on exams if doing them. When you have moved somewhere else then you can take a break from the friendship.
