Memes are hands down the most moronic concept of this decade. Yet, why do some of them make us laugh so much? If you think about it, all memes are something a 7 year old with severe autism would do or say. We used to say ahh by the time we hit 2018 we will colonize Mars, have flying cars....and yet here we are with classic memes such as “you’re mum gay” “Why are we still here, just to suffer? - Club penguin edition”

    Those are some stale memes.

I guess because memes act as some sort of inside joke for everyone on the Internet. They are simple so they are easily a variety of the same joke. However due to memes being simple they get old quickly. Hence most of them being annoying.

Good Lord, I am so happy to finally hear someone say and confirm what I've been frustrated with all these years in this young generation; that indeed memes are bloody moronic and brainless.

I suppose that some of them make us laugh because I think the brain finds the unexpected funny.

I’m a bit of a hypocrite because some memes do make me laugh, but most are just retarded....literally
