The weather is making me feel really depressed. I literally have zero motivation right now. My parents are worried I’m not revising enough but I’m struggling to explain why. In year 13 with a good uni offer but I feel like completely burnt out and demotivated. Anyone have any idea about what I should do?

Go see your GP; if it's the weather having such a large effect on you you may have Seasonal Affective Disorder. Has this happened to you on previous winters?

My mum used to have seasonal depression and used a light box which has the same affect has sunlight which lifted her spirits and made her feel better.

It is normal to feel like that when the weather is so awful. I feel the same. However, if it continues, then do go and see your gp to rule out anything such as SAD. Cheer yourself up by having a good chat with your friends, listen to your favourite music, watch a funny movie. Keep your mind occupied. Perhaps thatn might help you and then when you feel better get back to revising. Exams are not the be all and end all of everything. Good luck. and let us know how things go
