I'm planning on starting at uwe in September. I'm 24 and a little worried about being "too old" I enjoy drinking and going clubbing but I'm a little worried I wont 'fit in' so to speak? Will be living in halls so anyone whos starting in September also being a mature student or who has experience living with / being a mature student please put my mind at ease !

24? Calm down mate. Your not that old. You’ll be in for a surprise at uni. When you will get students starting in their 50s. You’ll be fine. If anything, you’ll be seen as the experienced leader for everyone to look up to.

I was 24 when i started last year and honestly you'll be fine, especially if you like clubbing and partying in general, i dont really and im still fine. No one will think its weird or act differently towards you. My halls has a range of ages, not everyone is 18 and although im the oldest in my flat, the flat above has a girl whos 27.
