Has anyone been to a ‘what uni live?’ event or a UCAS fair? Do you have any advice/ tips or questions I should ask whilst I’m there? (Going to the NEC tomorrow, weather permitting)

Ucas fairs will normally have a better range of universities. What uni charges universities more than ucas so only those with big budgets who expect to get a lot of students from the midlands are likely to be there.

Ask them what the best thing and the worst thing about their university/course is...but definitely ask questions don’t just collect brochures (you can order prospectuses online)

What sort of thing are you trying to work out atm? Have you decided on what subjects you want to study? What you want from a university?

    Thanks for the advice,
So far, I just know that I want to go and probably do a Spanish degree so I’m just really seeing what’s out there and what they have to offer.

That should be good. For languages it’s worth asking if you can pick up another language ab initio (if that’s something you would be interested in). And ask about the year abroad- some will have opportunities to go to other Spanish speaking countries
