    How would one draw [CoCl_2(en)_2]^{-}?

I am having trouble deciding where the chlorines go. Also why does this complex have a single negative charge?

There are three isomers, 2x cis and 1x trans. They are easy to look up, both in pretty much any A level text book or on the Interwebs.

It would only have a 1- charge if it was in the +1 oxidation state, which is wouldn't be found in usually.
