    My Pearson's measure of skew is 0.85 - is that significantly large? It seems so because my other data set is 0.06 but I'm not sure.

    I've never heard of a Pearson's measure of skew, but 0.85 certainly seems to be a lot bigger of a skew than 0.06...assuming the result should be between 1 and -1 then yes it would be a significant skew, otherwise I'm not sure
