I currently take GCSE Art and am considering it for next year as an A-level. I did natural world last year and I LOVED it but I'm doing Human Form as my exam (not something I'm passionate about but I hated all the questions). I'm finding myself having to trace everything and really am not the best drawer! Should I still stick with it next year?

Download the specification and have a look at it t see what you might be studying.

    Talk to teacher.

Talk to sixth formers currently displaying their work.

I would say do it if its going to form part of your degree and future, if not and you are academically gifted, then do a standard academic subject as that will be more useful for more courses. I think A level art might be ok for Animation, graphic design, fine art, architecture etc.

Outside these areas, then it may be less useful for gaining entry to a degree course . It helps if you can decide what career or which course you are interested in.

Be aware sometimes people post complaining it can be very time consuming.
