    Hi,

I got a 9 in English Lit last year. Just write a perfect essay off by heart and integrate it into the question. Learn as many A03 as possible as that really helps. I collectively wrote a whole page of AO3. Do this and you should be fine.

Class the poetry essays into themes so you learn 1 poem really well for each theme so you can link it in the exam. Again AO3 is key.

Generally, for AO2 analyse 3 phrases in detail for each essay and try to link it to the AO3 somehow.

    Hope this helps.

At A level, background research seems really important. Context, context, context: it will help you no end but i don't know if that will get you an A* or just a decent grade. There isn't just one thing to do to create the perfect grades
