I am currently in Year 12 and have already chosen to do EPQ. The topic I am basing my project on is the Holocaust; and my working title is:
'To what extent was the Holocaust a failure of humanity and how does this encourage younger generations of today to combat antisemitism and genocide?'
My biggest issue is choosing whether to do a 5000 word dissertation or creating a film which would be potentially based on the story of a Holocaust survivor which I heard in person last month. The film would consist of an overall message which would answer whether humanity was at fault for the Holocaust, it would speak about the contemporary relevance and how we can unite together to fight against genocide and antisemitism. I've been leaning more towards doing a film since my ambition is to study Philosophy and film at university.
Can someone please help me and give me advice on which method would be more suitable for my EPQ?
