    hi, s6 is a few years away from me but this question has been on my mind since s1; can you crash higher a subject if you haven't done or completed the national 5 course because I am thinking of crash highering computing science but I didn't take it at national 5 level.

    Yes you can. In fact, that is the definition of a crash higher (Had you taken the nat 5 course, then taking the higher in 6th year is just simply referred to as a higher). Lots of people I know have crash highered subjects without difficulty, but bare in mind that you need to learn the nat 5 course in your own time to help understand, and keep up with, the higher course
