I was wearing sweatpants but the water split on my upper leg and it stings a bit. I did soak in cold water and I have applied Aloe Vera gel but does anyone have any advice?

As long as there is nothing visible there, just wait it out. You probably have a minor burn. It should improve in a couple of days. You could also use stuff like aloe vera or other soothing products to help with how it feels.

If there is anything visible like serious redness or a change to the texture of your skin you might like to pop into a pharmacy with a photo of it and get some advice. You'd need to have pretty hot tea for that to happen though and you soaking it in cold water should have helped too.

    Hope that helps
