If you are looking to apply to other parts of the country to the one you have trained in, how do you find out about other Trusts/Departments. I know that some departments in my current training area have terrible reputations for bullying, and I would hate to move to somewhere with a bullying culture.

I think asking here is probably your best bet. Or asking the doctors your work with - some of them may have studied or worked in the areas you are looking at. Where are you looking to apply?

Most places will have a Facebook group where you can ask current doctors on what it's like.

When I was ranking my jobs I looked at this site as well:

https://www.juniorreviews.com/

A lot of places don't have any reviews on there (yet), but for the places that do, the reviews can be quite helpful and mention things like ease of requesting annual leave/rota changes, balance of teaching & service provision, on-calls & the state of hospital accommodation, ease/difficulty of hierarchy etc.

You can start with JuniorReviews, although it might not cover the hospitals and specialties you need. You are right that it is often about dysfunctional departments rather than whole hospitals. If there are specific places you are interested in, you could ask about them on the Junior Doctors' Contract Forum on Facebook.

Most departments publish a list of consultants on their website. Googling names can also be enlightening - a couple of enthusiastic consultants trumpeting the plight of junior doctors on Twitter would usually be an encouraging sign.
