When I visited Manchester Met looking at the fashion design course I really wanted to go there. I loved the course, building and the facilities the school of art had as well as Manchester itself. However, after looking into what students have said about this uni, such as the course not being organised, I have started to question if I should go there as uni costs a lot and I want to be sure I'm making the right decision and getting the most out of my degree as other unis I've looked at have a much more positive response from students there. Can anyone on this course tell me more about it or if you did not decide to go here, why? Thanks

    Hi!

Sorry to hear that you haven't had positive feedback from students on the course you are interested in.

Is it the straight BA (Hons) Fashion that you are interested in? Or the BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Technology?

    The BA (Hons) Fashion
Have you been made an offer for the course? If so, you may wish to also book on the BA (Hons) Fashion Applicant Visit Day on the 21st April. That way you can give us another visit to see if we are the right choice for you. The Applicant Visit Days are more subject focussed than Open Days, so you will get a more in-depth look in to the course and you will also get to meet some of our graduates.

You can also see examples of our students work from the degree and fashion show last year on our website, as well as some of our success stories.

We want you to make the right choice for you, so doing as much research as possible into the courses you have applied for and visiting your other university choices is the best way to make an informed decision. Making a pros and cons list for each of your choices can be really helpful in narrowing your decision down.

If you have any questions about the course or about Manchester Met in general then please feel free to ask.

Good luck in making your decision!

    Rebecca
