I’m struggling to come up with points for this question; ‘Evaluate the view that for the last 30 years the main aim of education has been to save money’. I can’t think of any policies other than scrapping ema, tuition fees increasing and grant maintained schools abolished. Can someone help me with another point? Also I’m not quite sure of the structure of the 30 marker. Do i write 4 different points or 2 for and 2 against? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe compare school leaving age across the time period and how much dole/jsa and housing benefits are compared to child benefit and school education...
