I am abit lucky in the sense that I don’t live with a big religious family. But the parent I live with is religious and it will break their heart. But then I really don’t like keeping secrets.

Many of my friends are Muslim also and tbh I don’t feel comfortable revealing it all.

Also, I don’t think I will be moving out for uni because I live close to a prestige uni with a great course (London uni).

I don’t plan on being in a relationship with a women who is very religious (I am free to choose who I can marry/date )

This thread kinda helps me let it out as I do often feel guilty

It sounds like you're really conflicted - I'm sorry to hear this. If it would cause a lot of trouble and you don't have a need to tell them, don't. But if you want to be more open about it perhaps you could pick a friend who you really trust and tell them? They might be able to help you approach the subject with others and are almost more likely to understand it from your point of view than some random on the internet

Uh idk, I feel like I’m betraying the parent I live with if other people know before.

And yet insecure enough about their position to have to use the anon feature.
    Interesting.

How to be a troll on TSR.

    1. Make a clickbait thread title with the word 'Muslim' in it.
    2. Wait for ridiculous 1000 posts to be made.
