Is it best if I just have pictures on my slides with titles? Instead of having blocks of text on my slides?

Since, I will be talking anyway

Pictures with some description or reinforcing text. You want people to be focusing on you and what you are saying not on the text on your slides. I got A* and pretty much my presentation slides (apart from those about why I chose the subject etc.) on the report were a chapter each and I had a picture for each point in each chapter with some text underneath saying what it was or the point.

I remember some people having more text and one who had a load of text on their slides which they would read from. Their topic wasn't bad and they were good at conveying it but they kept turning to it to read and this along with the fact that everything being said was up there made me focus on the slides more.
