What's the best way to aproach an unseen poetry essay? (A level)

Have one due soon and want to know if anyone has any specific ways of approach that they find best. It's my least favourite part as I haven't had much practise.

AS level WJEC? I normally find stuff in both, combine them into a line of argument and then evidence evidence evidence everything haha
