Last night someone went down on me unprotected (I know, stupid plan since neither of us are tested etc and I was fully planning to use protection but a lot of alcohol was consumed and bad choices were made etc). I was just wondering if anyone knew how long I should wait before I get tested for STIs after something like this.
Thanks and sorry for the dumb question

Double check with a sexual health clinic to be sure (they'll know what they want to test you for and therefore how long until an accurate result can be obtained), but a few days is usually enough time for the basics . Something like HIV would take longer, but if you were really worried about this risk you could tested at a different time. Unless you're at high risk though, don't worry too much about that

You're very unlikely to get an STI from oral. It can happen but it's very unlikely.
