Starting from Autumn of 2018, MIT and Imperial students will be able to spend up to a year abroad at the other institution for physical sciences, maths and engineering subjects

    https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/1850...dent-exchange/

Previously, It was Cambridge and MIT that had the joint programme, however this was discarded.

oh the "asians" running circles. Yet places like Apple and Spacex, Amazon all run and invented by decidingly well not Asians. Life success is not simply equations alone.

Haha, to prevent that from happening, they put you in the year above.
Eg if you're studying abroad in your third year, you'll get put in the 4th

    Everybody knows specialisation is king.

I actually had that same image of a sweaty Imperial Asian giving dirty looks to a MIT student as they raise their hand and give the correct answer

    Not exactly bro.

You can change to a different programme within the two years once you're there without a fuss.

You don't have to apply for a year abroad in the first instance

I took a look at both the link you provided and LSE's exchange programmes, and it seems that universities in general seem more willing to exchange postgrads and research students than undergrads... Even though this may be due to LSE and Imperial being very research oriented and having a high proportion of postgraduate students in general.

likely there are always grade boundaries you need to achieve, for example im going abroad next year, i needed 60 percent overall semester one to qualify, and if you wanted to go somewhere more prestigious then Nottinghams sister campus you needed to beat people average wise. Two people went to bonucci (italy) had 77% and 74%...im gonna gather the competition at imperial will be even tougher, with all those quantative subjects.
