I’m in year 12 wanting to apply for medicine this year, but I’m stuck between doing medicine with a foundation year or a normal medicine degree.
Which is better? And I think King’s college is the only uni in London that does a foundation year with medicine ??

Foundation degrees are typically for students with the right grades but non-science A levels, or students who meet certain widening participation requirements. Do you think either of those would apply to you?

It really depends - for some med schools that is the case yes. Have a look at these pages:

dont bother with a foundation year if you dont need it. Med school is already very long, and a foundation year is typically for students who dont have the scientific background to go right into Medicine. Also courses inc foundation year are much more competitive due to the small number of places avaliable.
