Hey, please don’t read if you are depressed or anything. Don’t want to make anyone feel even worse.

I’ve tried therapy it just didn’t work, they obviously wanted me out of there as quickly possible. I feel like i have nobody, i have two friends who as much as I love them won’t understand. My mum and dad just don’t, tell me to grow up and get on. I wish I could just get on with it but i just feel so awful.

I don’t want kids in the future, or a relationship. I don’t find myself attracted to anyone, so I cannot imagine having a future with someone. Pets are an option but they won’t last forever. Once I move out i will be alone.

Hey there. Firstly, I’m sorry to hear you’re having a really rough time.

You mentioned that you have friends that you love that won’t understand. Does that mean you’ve not tried speaking to them about it? Sometimes people surprise you - And those who love us can be more than willing to listen.

I know it’s hard to believe right now, but these feelings won’t last forever. You have ups and downs, and you’re due a few ups in the near future!

My advice is to keep at the therapy. Sometimes, antidepressants mixed with (CBT) therapy compliment each other nicely.

Also, make a list. Of all the things around you that are good. This list can be full of huge aspirations, like “I’d like to be a lawyer one day” or smaller things, like your favourite shows or the beauty that is fried chicken. (Sorry vegans)

As a stranger, I’m more than willing to listen if you believe it would help you. But keep pushing through, your outlook on life and situation will improve, just with a bit of time. x
