I am going into year 10 in September and starting my chosen GCSE's so far I am doing the compulsory GCSE like English, science, and maths and my chosen ones are:business studies triple science french geography or history
in both history and geography I have a target grade of a 7, however, all year have been getting 8's in both subjects and both my teachers for the subject want me to take it since the start of secondary school I've always thought I should take geography however in year 9 I have liked history more than I did. I'm on the AQA board of geography and Edexcel board for history.I feel like I cant choose between them because they're both equal in grades and how I like them. I have until the 16th of March to decide, any advice? thank you

is it possible to take both? because if so I recommend doing that and dropping business studies which is a much less interesting and less useful GCSE in my opinion

Do both! Both are interesting at GCSE. Like above, I would drop the business studies and do both humanities. At GCSE, my options were similar - I chose triple science, Spanish (instead of French), history and geography. In case you're wondering or if anyone else has mentioned this to you, the work load is not as horrendous as many people make it out to be.
I was indecisive between the two subjects as well and considered taking art/product design as my fourth subject but instead chose to take both history and geography and I've never regretted that decision.

Look at what topics will be covered in each and see which one you like the look of. I took history which I enjoy, and my mates tell me geography has a lot of content.... but it’s your decision in the end - look at which one best suits your interests: both current and for future careers
