    hello dear all !
i'd like to ask you; please!
well if possible, if you just read the Australian novel THE BOOK THIEF by author MARKUS ZUSAK and even familiar with it's content, according to you can we apply the postcolonial theory on it when it comes to analyzing some of the traumatic episodes where the main character LIESEL MEMINGER feels dislocated because of some unwilling displacement to being fostered daughter!!
as for Hitler as a main charachter in the novel can we say that he is colonizing his own people through language by claiming that it's urgent to wage war or in other word that GERMANS were mentally colonized by thier own leader !!

please i really need your help for my assignment and i'll be gratful if any of you provide me some sources on posible theories applied on the book and mainly the postcolonial themes !
    thanks in advance, bless you!
