Back when i was 9 or 10. A friend of mine use to come over and he'd use my laptop for porn (since he didn't have one). We use to write in google 'Sexy girls in the shower'. I use to close my eyes and ears by what i saw and heard, i thought the guy was stabbing the woman (Atleast now i know i wasn't wrong)...

My parents never really talked about this whole sex business till they found out i watch porn. When they did, my mum just told me it's wrong to watch porn. In reality i didn't come to understand sex and periods until i was taught about it in secondary school.

Emerald Street are looking for short comments on what it was like the first time you had "the chat" with your mum or dad about sex or periods...

Who did it - mum or dad?

    What happened?

    Why at that moment?

    How did you react?

How do you feel about it looking back?

If you have a story you'd like to share, send me your comment (100 words max) in a PM or leave it below, along with your age and your name, if you'd like that to be included. (You can stay anon but age is important!)

They didn't. My parents believed it was the schools job.

    What talk?

My parents never gave me the sex talk but when I was about 10 my mum gave me the period talk. She just showed me how to use a pad and what to do when I get my first one. It was fairly straightforward and not awkward.
Wait, you are a girl? :eek4:

I got a condensed (but honest) version when my Mum was pregnant with my brother when I was 5. After that I'd just ask questions as and when. There was never any mystery to it for me.
