I know it's quite popular and I usually hear only good things about it but I have a question.
Most successful people seem to be Harvard alumni or something. But how possible is it to be successful with a low-tier uni diploma? How much does it actually matter what university you go to?
I'm not from the UK and this whole application process already made me depressed because I have to leave everything and start a new life. Should I go to DMU or maybe take a gap year and try to write the exams again next year to get to a better uni? My firm is Sheffield but I probably won't meet their requirements.
It's not like I don't like DMU, I would probably enjoy studying there but if it will give me no opportunities for a good career then maybe it's not a good way to go because I don't want to be unhappy, incomplete and poor for the rest of my life.

Yeah coz every successful person in the world goes to Harvard. Really? Focus on whether the course fits with your academic interests and career plans and no reputation means nothing.

I didn't want it to sound like that. I know it's more about your skills etc. but how much does the uni actually matter?

It doesn't except when it comes to things like networks and links with industry which will help. Check out where grads end up.
