At the moment I got offers for summer work experience at HSBC and PwC for some very competitive programmes (I’m in yr12)

I also got onto a telephone interview stage for an EY programme but should I be successful I’m not sure if I should pursue it.

I might want to go into investment banking/financial stuff and idk if I should do professional service work experience right now and make myself look better but waste study time, I’m just really unsure if it’s worth it...it’s a really good, competitive programme but is it worth it?

Edit: none of these clash at any point in time, I just need revision time for a levels

It's never too early to start getting work experience and building up your network, even if it isn't 100% what you think you want to do. You might find you enjoy it and you might even get some school leaver offers out ofit.

If it’s summer work experience then that is obviously after exams, no?

Regardless, you would be silly not to take it. It’s good to get big brand(s) so early on your CV, regardless of whether you want to go down the banking path or not.

And if you do, having that work experience will help for internship or spring applications.
