2. W = mg (weight = mass * gravitational field strength)

W = 200g * 9.8N/kg = 1960N

weight of spring = force of gravity acting on spring

F = ke (force = spring constant * extension)

1960N = 2.5e

e = (1960/2.5)m = 784m

EPE = 1/2ke^2

EPE = 1/2 * 2.5N/m * (784m)^2

1.25 * 784 = 980

elastic potential energy store = 980J
